Age 15, an office boy in an iron foundry, living on Albert Street with Thomas, father, working on the railways, brother Alfred, a lace warehouseman and brother Matthew, an apprentice bookbinder. His sister Florence was boarding with the Smalley family in Victoria Street and working as a dressmaker (she married in 1913).

Radcliffe-on-Trent Police Constable Bernard Thomas Baggley (21) is wounded by shell fire for the third time this year on the Western Front. Having joined the Sherwood Foresters on 4 June 1915, he suffered back injuries on 15 June, was hit in the leg on 28 October and has now suffered facial injuries. He will survive, though, to his demob on 23 January 1919.
