Age 18 living with parents.  He was employed as a maltster and his brother was a plumber’s apprentice.

1911 Census

Age 28 boarding at Mount Pleasant, Radcliffe on Trent, with Mary Spencer, her son Harry Richmond, and her niece Clarice Richmond (William’s future wife). He was employed as a bricklayer’s labourer.
