The 10th Bn were approximately 10 miles east of Amiens when William Lodge was gassed.

The battle of Amiens took place 8-12th August and was the start of the Hundred Days Offensive. The hospital at Rouen was approximately 133-152 km south west of Amiens.

Total military service: 2 years, 272 days. Widow received pension of 13 shillings 9d  (69p) a week
